Hello, and welcome to my website.

My name is Jacob Hostetter, I'm a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology in spring 2021 with, Bachelor of Fine Arts.

How I got into animation is when I started middle school, the elementary school students were being shown a program that involves stick figure animation called "Pivot." When my little brother showed me the program, I when straight into creating my animations. During my High School, years, computer programs were slowly coming in, I was taught how to use "Google Sketchup."

​

During my college years, I decided to do 3D animation.

I was surprised at how I learned to use Autodesk Maya and use Adobe programs. While in NYIT, I was also taught how to do 2D animation, more Adobe programs, and Game Design.
